Hundreds of people come up to the Hudson Valley during the fall season for the beautiful foliage and northeast atmosphere. Many of us here at Vassar were drawn to it because of its beauty and comfort. Beyond being the familiar, cozy college town we know and love, Poughkeepsie, NY has a collection of ghost stories, abandoned buildings, and unsettling pieces of history that are lesser known.
